Adding a Person Role

Ad hoc roles can be assigned to a person from the Role folder in the Person record. There are several important points about assigning roles from within the Person record:

 

  1. From the Person record, click the Roles link.
    Result: All of the current roles that have been assigned to the person within the selected organization are displayed.
  2. Click the Select Organization drop down arrow at the top of the Current Role list to view other roles that have been assigned to the person from other organizations, if applicable.
  3. In the Available Roles section, scroll down to view all of the available roles within the organization that can be assigned to the person. Use the search option to locate roles, if necessary.
  4. Check the checkboxes of the roles to be assigned to the person.
  5. Click the Assign To Actor button.
    Result: The role(s) has been added to the Person record.
